Have Beads Will Travel
A Beadwork Book review
Paula S. Morgan
Guide Rating - *****
Planning on doing any travel this season? If so, and even
if the extent of your travel is from the bead room to the living
room, you'll want a copy of this wonderful (and very portable)
new book by Suzanne Cooper, Have Beads Will Travel
I'd like to know how Suzanne was able to cram so much good
stuff into such a tiny little volume.
In only 33 pages and in a book measuring 8 inches by 6 inches,
there are enough great beading projects to keep you busy for
a very long time. Amulet Bags are done in an Even count Tubular
Peyote and bracelets are done in Odd Count Flat Peyote, with
very clear and understandable directions for each stitch are
included.
The patterns are, as always, amazing. Each one is shown in
a flat (and very easy to read) graph format as well as a realistic
format image and a photograph of the completed piece. Each pattern
makes either an Amulet Bag and matching bracelet or pair of earrings.
All of them are gorgeous!
Ad this title to your library. It's perfect for those occasions
when you'll want to grab your beads and go - whether you're going
to the ends of the Earth or the end of the sofa!
Planning Some Holiday Travel?
Then you'll want to pick up a copy of Suzanne Cooper's latest
book Have Beads, Will Travel. There are 57 projects in this readable
and travel-friendly little book, all of them are of the excellent
quality we've come to enjoy from Suzanne.
Go take a look at this divine volume and pick up a copy as a
little pre-Hectic Holiday season gift to yourself. It'll keep
you beading (and maybe a little more sane) from now through New
Year's Eve and beyond!
