SAM'S TRAIN RIDE
Oct.3 was Sam's first birthday so that was our excuse for
letting him go on a train ride with us. The trip on The
Santa Fe Southern Railway was our daughter's Father's Day
gift to Coop this year. We rode in passenger cars built in 1915
to Lamy, NM where we had a delicious barbecue dinner.
If you ever want to have fun on a train ride take a Bichon
with you! Everyone stopped to talk to Sam and pet him. The kids
on board loved him. When we left the train everyone said "Goodbye
Sam" but didn't tell US goodbye!
