Several people have asked about how many beads it takes to
make a project. I asked the beaders if they remembered but since
it was months ago only these had a clue. I hope this helps y
ou estimate. This is a difficult question because there are so
many variabes since many beads may haveto be culled. The amount
also depends on the fringe you add. So, for what it's worth,
here are the letters from the beaders!

DECO DELIGHT CHATELAINE & BRACELET
Anne Ybarrondo:
The amount of delicas for my Chantelaine and bracelet. 20 grams,
each of steel and blue iris, then 7 grams each of the other colors
would be more than enough; we could even go 5 grams of the silver-lined
orange and silver lined aqua but hey, let's give the bead stores
a break and say 7 grams.

ENGLISH GARDEN EVENING BAG
Caroline Bleil:
I can't remember, but I think I got 10 gr of each color except
the background, and not knowing how much it would take, I ordered
50 gr, of which I had probably - and I'm *guessing* here - 20
gr left. It may have been a little more left over. Gosh, that
was a year ago and I put them in 6" tubes that are 3/4"
across. I think I used up two tubes, and I have one tube left
that has 4-1/4" left of beads in it. I would say it has
about 20-25 gr left in it. I hope that's enough information for
you to guess at the amount needed. I think 30 gr would probably
do it. And probably 5 gr of each of the design colors would be
enough. The ones I ordered from Caravan, as you probably know,
came in the skinny tubes, probably 5 gr. I'm not sure, but you
probably do. I hope this helps.

Cisco Cosgrove:
For the Floral bag and bracelet I did... black beads for the
background and
fringe took approx 24 grams.
