I was stopped by this huge
bear on the streets of Juneau. I calmed him down by promising
to make an amulet purse with his portrait.

I did some beading on the whale
watch boat in Juneau. Believe me, when I saw the Humpback
Whales I put down the beading immediately! They were so glorious
that I made an Orca pattern for "Uniqurly Yours."
After we left Alaska we took a
sea plane from Vancouver,
BC to Victoria,
BC. I was terrified to ride in this plane but it was a wonderful
trip and smooth enough for lots of beading!

I tried to bead on the antique
train we took to the Yukon.
Did you ever try to bead when your fingers were shaking from
the cold?

It was really, really cold beading
while cruising through Glacier
Bay National Park. Yes, the glaciers are blue! Awesome!

I studied this totem
pole in Ketchican to make an amulet purse pattern. The only
problem I've had is that I keep stepping on it every time I wear
it!

Victoria was hosting a wonderful
gathering of antique boats! I found the perfect place to bead
on a 1912 fishing vessel.
